The 2nd Vocational Skills Competition of the People’s Republic of China was held in Tianjin from September 16-19, 2023, hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and organized by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government. A total of 4045 participants from 36 delegations across the country took part in the competition for 109 project medals.

As the equipment and facilities support provider, SATA provides professional assistance to participating athletes in Autobody Repair, Automobile Technology, Heavy Vehicle Technology, Industrial Mechanics, Aircraft Maintenance, ensuring high-quality equipment throughout the competition. This is SATA’s second involvement, following their wholehearted support as a senior partner that contributed to the successful organization of the "First National Skills Competition" in 2020.

Autobody Repair

During the Autobody Repair competition, participants use the provided materials, equipment, facilities, and tools to organize work plans and tasks strategically, such as diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing faults in automotive electromechanical systems. SATA’s equipment such as 3D four-wheel aligners, scissor lifts for aligner, and auto quick repair & maintenance tool set provides participants with precise data support and efficient, stable maintenance assistance.


Automobile Technology

During the Automobile Technology competition, participants perform tasks such as inspection, disassembly, testing, measurement, and diagnosis on complete vehicles or system test benches to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in various automotive systems, with professional knowledge of automotive mechanics, electrical systems, electronics, and system integration, as well as automotive maintenance tools, diagnostic instruments, and equipment. SATA provides automotive tool set and other tools to ensure convenient and efficient workflow for participants.


Heavy Vehicle Technology

During the Heavy Vehicle Technology competition, technicians maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment used in mining, forestry, agriculture, landscaping, material handling and related fields. The competition covers routine maintenance of heavy vehicles as well as the repair of electrical, hydraulic, transmission, engine, and other systems. SATA’s professional tools, including the 8-drawer tool cart, socket tray sets, wrenches and pliers, meet the diverse needs of participants.


Industrial Mechanics

During the Industrial Mechanics competition, participants use machining equipment, assembly tools, and testing instruments to maintain, assemble, repair and enhance industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, automation, and robotic systems. SATA’s tool set and drills enable participants to complete various tasks more smoothly during the competition.


Aircraft Maintenance

During the aircraft maintenance competition, participants maintain and check aircraft, identify and rectify faults under certain standards and procedures, ensuring the aircraft reaches a safe operational state. The competition requires participants to be familiar with the principles and components of various aircraft systems and possess specific maintenance skills. They must use equipment, tools, and measuring instruments correctly to carry out machining, maintenance, inspection, and commissioning of different types of aircraft components and systems. SATA’s intelligent tool cart and workshop uniform provide comprehensive security for the competition.

SATA Talent Training


The skill competition is the "baton" and "booster" of skill talent training. The support for the 2nd National Skills Competition reflects SATA’s belief in promoting skill development and talent training. Since 2007, SATA has sponsored 39 technical schools, 170 higher vocational schools, 568 secondary vocational schools, and more than 1,380 sets of tools and equipment, providing 430,000 automobile repair students with a better way to learn and grow. In addition, SATA has also sponsored 7 national mechanic automobile repair competitions for 6 years, 10 national vocational automobile repair competitions for 11 years, and 17 national secondary vocational automobile repair competitions for 15 years, promoting skill development and talent training with professional equipment and services.
